Colorado’s Mentally Ill Cycle In & Out of Jails, Prisions
- As someone who has served the homeless since the 80s and have watched this cycle for decades…sometimes with the same person. We need comprehensive, integrated long term care for those with mental illness as their presenting condition just like we have for someone with physical disability..parity

- “I have a grandson who went from working everyday having nice place to live a car etc etc to the street and jail all the time now he has bad mental health issues we can not get him help even though he has almost succeeded in killing him self we haven’t heard from him in months don’t know where he is or if he is alive we need mental health issues taken care of now”
